IDØ exists to close that gap — honestly, and by architecture.
Competitive intelligence has a noise problem. Feeds and alerts fire on every changelog entry, every blog post, every hire — as if they all matter equally. They don't. A launch that ships to a thousand upvotes is a different signal from one that shipped to silence, and the second one is often the more useful thing to know.
So we measure reception: whether a competitor's move actually connected with the market. Points, comments, sentiment, momentum — coupled to each launch by content and time. It's the number nobody else gives you, and it's the whole point.
Two commitments we won't break. Read-only by architecture — you can look at anyone and notify no one; there are no follows, no view receipts, no leaderboards. And cited by architecture — every line traces to a public source you can verify in ten seconds. If it can't be verified fast, it doesn't ship.
There is no LLM in the scoring path. Scores are deterministic and reproducible, with the exact features that produced them attached. A model only ever writes the human-readable weekly narrative — never the numbers. We'd rather be boring and right than clever and wrong.
The engine has run across 73 companies in 9 published sectors, coupling 1,047 real reactions to the moves that earned them. Those are the same totals you can add up yourself on the reports page — we publish every sector report free, and we're onboarding founders who want the same read on their own competitive set.
