Where do these numbers come from?
Public surfaces only — Wave's own site, changelog, pricing and careers pages, public repositories, and news. A move exists where two consecutive observations differ, so nothing here is inferred. Reactions come from Hacker News, Bluesky, GitHub and news, bound to a specific dated move by exact-phrase and domain-scoped matching rather than loose company-name search.
What does a low landed rate mean?
That the moves drew little public reaction on the surfaces we read — not that they lacked value. Markets whose buyers do not discuss purchases publicly will show low rates regardless of what they ship. Compare within a sector, not across.
Why don't the per-category reactions add up to the total?
Because a single public discussion can reference more than one move. Per category it is counted against each move it discusses; at company level it is counted once. So the category figures can sum to slightly more than the 6 headline total. Both are right for what they measure, and neither inflates the other.
How complete is this?
Coverage runs from 2026-06-23 to 2026-07-20. Anything behind a login, in a private community, or on a surface we do not read is invisible here.
